On the surface, an old fashioned “street standoff” between two sides is illustrated in this collection of unexpected musical ideas. What lies beneath, however, is The Game, the ultimate authority over the feuding parties. The Game, portrayed as a mysterious waltz, is the relentless driving force in this production and the opponents are undeniably controlled by it. Musical divisions fade in time as this cinematic display sees the rivals unite in order to achieve final domination.
